Young Liam does not like his new stepmother, Sarah (Katharine Isabelle, Ginger Snaps). To overcome this, Liam’s dad Cory (Robin Dunne) takes Liam and Sarah to a beautiful house in the middle of a peaceful forest. However, when the trio arrives, they discover that someone has been living in the house. But they don’t let a few dirty dishes and defaced pictures stop them. They simply clean up the mess, and then go to bed…

With a title like Torment, you can rightly expect some gore. But that’s not all the movie offers. Torment is a suspense thriller as much as a horror movie, and it shows that less can be more.
