When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends (including Jeremy Sumpter, Joey Lauren Adams, Keke Palmer, and Eve) find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, tensions mount as long-buried secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival.

Animal was executive-produced by Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen, the team known as Flower Films, makers of Donnie Darko, 50 First Dates, Fever Pitch (2005), Never Been Kissed, Whip It, and Music and Lyrics, among others.

Multi-talented Keke Palmer (above right) is a standout in the film. She is, at age 20, a show-biz veteran, having starred in films like Akeelah and the Bee and the TV show “True Jackson, VP” on Nickelodeon. She has released albums and singles as a singer and composed soundtracks. She is set to become the youngest talk show host ever on June 30, when Just Keke debuts on BET.
