Told through the eyes of nine-year-old Joey (Johnny Sequoyah making her feature debut), Among Ravens is the story of a group of old friends (Amy Smart, Victoria Smurfit, Joshua Leonard, Natalie Imbruglia, Christian Campbell, Russell Friedenberg, and Castille Landon) who reunite for their annual 4th of July weekend, only to be confronted by Chad (Will McCormack), a strange but intriguing photographer whose presence changes their lives. Fun fact: Writer, co-director and star Friedenberg is Sequoyah’s father.

Uniformly great performances, a lack of clichés, and stunning cinematography make this a very enjoyable film.
