Detroit Threat Management is the chronicle of VIPERS, the people who join it, the man who leads them, and the city from which they have sprouted to fill a gap in public service. Detroit Unleaded (2013)
NR – 93 min – Tickets $7
Detroit Unleaded is a slice-of-life romantic dramedy about the Arab-American experience. Sami (E.J. Assi) is a Lebanese-American teenager who was banking on a freer life – one outside the confines of the family business, a 24-hour gas station on Detroit’s east side. When his father is fatally shot one summer night, Sami finds himself captive to family obligations. Through a vibrant cast of characters, the film humorously explores family, love, identity, friendship and love.
